- Do I need to know the whole show to roleplay here?
Obviously not. This is about a new generation and we are not planning on re-creating the old crew’s storyline. They are new characters with a new life and with different ideals and mentalities. This is like any other original roleplay, but based on an existing tv show. However, if you are curious about the show or think that is easier for you to know at least the basic information, you will find everything
here. But honestly? We think that all you need to know is who the parents are and the canons. Plus we are planning to make a post with a few locations as a bonus for you. Please listen and try not to follow the old show; be original and create your own Raven story.
- Can I reserve a character?
Of course. You can reserve a character for eight hours. Just keep in mind that we don’t allow an additional time of reservation.
- What is the audition system?
The first thing that you need to know is that we are accepting multiple applications and doing a pre-selection for the characters. Don’t be scared with this, because usually we don’t have a lot of auditions for the same character - depends on a lot of factors. Plus we always give the option for the ones that are not accepted to choose a face-claim for us to write a new character for them.
- How to do the audition.
1. Go here and submit your application here.
2. You have a couple of hours to wait until we close the character (usually five hours).
3. As soon as we close the character, we try to judge it quickly and post the results on the main page or here.
4. If you are accepted, you will have 24 hours to send us the link.
- Do you accept Original Characters (OC’s)?
Unfortunately for you we don’t accept Original Characters, but we do write them. It’s just our way to have a filter with the face-claims and the number of characters. If you are interested in a particular face-claim and you have an idea for the storyline, all you will have to do is leave us a message here and we can discuss that. All the ideas are a good help, because it means less work for the admins to do.
- Do you accept changes on the face-claims?
Of course. It will be no problem in changing the face-claims of your character as long as you talk with us first. Obviously that we will only allow the change if you get the character and if the face-claim age matches the character’s age.
- Do the characters have set ships?
No. And none of the admins are planning to make any set ships for this roleplay. We hope that you understand this, but we think this is a little too risky to be honest. We are aware that a few people feel more comfortable in having set ships for the character, but that doesn’t mean that everyone is like that. We prefer to keep that option open for the people who roleplays them. In this roleplay, we don’t want to force anyone to do what we want; all we want to do is for people to interact with the other roleplayers and start to create their own relationships.
- Do you accept face-claims that were on the show already?
This is probably one of the main things from the show that we want to keep so the answer is no. We can understand that people love Sophia Bush, James Lafferty or Bethany Joy Galeotti (and the others of course), but we think it’s a little pointless to make new characters with their face-claims when they are characters already. Obviously they would be in their forties now, but we are not going to change their face-claims or make a new, younger version of them. For us the old crew will always have those face-claims no matter what.
